Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026 · Last reviewed September 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Direct Digital Holdings, Inc. (“DirectSignal”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you use our market signal analytics services. DirectSignal is operated by Direct Digital Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: DRCT).

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: Name, work email, organization, and authentication credentials (stored as salted hashes).
  • Mobile Information: If you opt in to SMS signal alerts, we collect your phone number, consent status, and submission metadata for compliance and messaging operations.
  • Signal Engine & Alert Configuration: Watched tickers and sectors, saved signal thresholds, briefing subscriptions, and export activity.
  • Usage & Diagnostics: Campaign visit tracking, session identifiers, and system telemetry to improve our analytics delivery.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our signal scoring models, market briefings, and the Signal Engine.
  • Deliver transactional SMS signal-shift alerts and market briefing summaries with explicit consent.
  • Authenticate subscriber access and persist alert configurations to your profile.
  • Communicate important updates about your subscription or account status.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent service misuse, fraud, or cybersecurity issues.

3. SMS Communications

This opt-in program is for transactional signal-shift alerts and scheduled market briefing summaries. You may opt in at the dedicated opt-in page at https://getdirectsignal.com/sms/opt-in, which offers tabs for Signal Alerts and Market Briefings. Both opt-in types require explicit, unchecked-by-default SMS consent and separate Terms agreement. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.

Transactional SMS: If you provide explicit consent, we send transactional notifications when the Signal Engine detects a material score change on your watched tickers or sectors, or when a subscribed pre-market or post-close briefing is published. Message frequency varies based on briefing publication cadence and triggered signal events.

Consent Records: We retain records of SMS consent, including consent source, timestamp, disclosure version, and submitted number to support carrier and legal compliance requirements.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message. Upon opt-out, we process your request immediately and send a confirmation message.

Mobile Information Sharing: We do not share, sell, or rent mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share mobile information with our SMS service providers acting solely on our behalf to deliver the messages you requested and to maintain required compliance records.

No mobile opt-in data will be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Personal information is not used for marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile Communication Privacy Protocol

DIRECTSIGNAL strictly maintains a non-sharing operational policy. Under zero conditions do we distribute, lease, sell, or disclose consumer SMS opt-in consent parameters, phone data, or communication telemetry logs to third-party entities, marketing networks, or external programmatic brokers. All collected numbers are utilized solely within our protected internal enterprise network ecosystem.
